ASBSD provides timely legislative updates to members throughout session. All updates are sent to LAN Members, South Dakota Superintendents and Business Officials. In addition to these updates, which are sent via email, members can use ASBSD's 24/7 advocacy resources to stay informed on legislative issues.

LAN Dispatch: Sent our at least twice a week during session, LAN Dispatch provides the latest news as it happens. In additon to the latest headlines from Open Forum, LAN Dispatch contains insight and analysis from ASBSD staff lobbyists.

LAN Alert: Sent out whenever the need arises, LAN Alert is issued when ASBSD needs member involvement during a critical time. When LAN Alerts are sent, LAN members are asked to contact their legislators immediately.

The ASBSD Bill Tracker allows members to follow legislation through the process. From the ASBSD Bill Tracker, members can easily see how each piece of legislation impacts K-12 districts, determine ASBSD's position on the legislation and find links to ASBSD testimony.
