Annual Academic Excellence Luncheon
Each year, ASBSD honors the achievements of South Dakota's graduating students during its Academic Excellence Luncheon. ASBSD sends a letter of invitation to each public school, inviting the top 1 percent of the graduating class, and two guests to the luncheon.
Traditionally, the Governor of South Dakota serves as keynote speaker for the event and personally recognizes each student.
DATE, TIME AND LOCATION
The 2011 ASBSD Annual Academic Excellence Luncheon will be held in Pierre, on Monday, April 25 from 11:30-2:00 at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PROMOTIONAL KIT
To help share the good news about South Dakota public education, ASBSD has created a promotional Academic Excellence kit that helps educators, parents and students plan and spread the word about the event.
