ASBSD K-12 Education Policy Summit
The ASBSD K-12 Education Policy Summit takes a new, comprehensive approach to ASBSD's advocacy efforts.
 
By combining threeevents – the ASBSD Delegate Assembly, the Leadership 2010 Forum and the ASBSD Leadership Conference – into one cohesive program, ASBSD hopes to take statewide education policy discussions to the next level.

AGENDA

The K-12 Education Policy Summit includes the ASBSD Delegate Assembly and the ASBSD Leadership Conference. The two events are separated by a social and networking event on Friday evening. Note: This agenda is tentative, and is subject to change (check back soon for updates).

ABOUT DR. PHILLIP BOYLE

Dr. Phillip Boyle is president of Leading Governing Associates and a creator of a decision-making model that prepares public servants to make decisions based on the four values of the public.

Dr. Boyle is a professor at the University of North Carolina and travels the country helping policymakers assess public policy and chart a course for action. He is making a return trip to South Dakota after wowing school board members at the 2007 ASBSD Leadership Conference.

  • November 20-21, 2009, at the Pierre Ramkota Convention Center 
REGISTRATION

  • There is no charge to attend the ASBSD Delegate Assembly. If you plan to only attend Delegate Assembly, make sure your district completes the Delegate Certification form, which is available on the ASBSD Delegate Assembly page. 
  • Registration fees and a registration form for the ASBSD Leadership Conference can be found on the ASBSD Leadership Conference page. Included in the fee for the conference is FREE ADMITTANCE to the Leadership 2010 Forum dnner and networking opportunity.
