Leadership 2010 Forum
As part of ASBSD’s efforts to expand the dialogue about the future direction of K-12 education policy, your association is pleased to announce the first ever Leadership 2010 Forum.
The Leadership 2010 Forum is a two-hour event featuring four individuals running for South Dakota Governor in 2010, including (in alphabetical order): Sen. Scott Heidepriem, D-Sioux Falls; Sen. Dave Knudson, R-Sioux Falls; Ken Knuppe, R-Buffalo Gap; and Scott Munsterman, R-Brookings.
The Leadership 2010 Forum is an integral part of the K-12 Education Policy Summit, a day and a half event that, in combination with the ASBSD Delegate Assembly and the ASBSD School Board Leadership Conference, will provide school leaders with a powerful opportunity to learn about and impact education policy in the state.
The Leadership 2010 Forum marks the first public event where candidates for governor from different political parties will come together to discuss policy issues. Dinner will be served.
- Cost for attending the 2010 Leadership Forum is $25, which covers the cost of the evening meal.
- If members plan to attend the ASBSD School Board Leadership Conference, separate registration is required. Registration fees for the School Board Leadership Conference does include costs of the meal at the 2010 Leadership Forum.

- 6:00 p.m. check-in, 6:30 candidates begin speaking
